Works flawlessly so far. I have a MacBook with only two USB ports and found myself severerly lacking in the area of USB. I've only had my a few weeks and it works' perfectly. I read in other reviews that various USB ports worked fine in the beginning and then stopped working. I kept having to plug and unplug USB devices. Did a little research and read the reviews and decided on the Belkin 7 port hub.
Good to organize your desktop stuff, I'm carrying it around to use with my laptop, since I travel a lot, it is a little bulky for that.It works good tough.
Easy to use - especially with flash drives. The price at Amazon was $20.00 less than locally.Belkin USB 2.0 Plus Hub (7 Port) F5U307-BRN Outstanding buy.
Works as advertised. truly Steve Jobs' digital hub. If only Apple hadn't screwed up with the external drive, I'd have that plugged in too. I've been using the Belkin 7-port hub with my USB-challenged Mac Air for about a month. Two connected external USB drives (one Time Machine, one storage), keyboard/mouse, Crackberry, iPod, camera.
The hub hasn't missed a beat. Also, the top slots make it easier to plug in a memory stick when necessary.electrically it's certainly no different than sticking it on the side, but it's easier to reach.Mechanically, it seems well made.
All in all, it works well. Unlink the no-name cheap hubs, there's enough weight that it doesn't get pulled all over my desk by the USB cables.
This hub works well. The wireless mouse interface seems to have a better range when the dongle is positioned vertically.
What more could you want. I currently have all but one of the top ports hooked to various pieces of equipment: two high-speed scanners, a printer, a wireless mouse, a postal scale and, last, but not least, my Blackberry.
It's supplying plenty of current to charge the Blackberry and whatever else I might plug in.The two top-mounted ports are surprisingly useful.
